Position Overview:
Reporting to the CEO, the Senior Manager, Business Development and Client Success will play a crucial role in fostering meaningful relationships with both clients and healthcare partners. The position will involve taking ownership of the entire sales cycle, from initial consultation to the seamless StartStrong™ handoff, ensuring every client feels valued and heard. You will drive revenue growth, generate client referrals, and maintain relationships with existing clients, using your strategic insights to build long-term partnerships.
This role will also require conducting in-home assessments, updating Care Plans, and handling client sales objections, with a focus on selling value over price. You will work closely with prospective clients and their families, helping them overcome concerns and ensuring they understand the full range of services offered. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting the start of the care process and monitoring client satisfaction through regular feedback and engagement.
Staying on top of market trends and understanding community needs, you will build and nurture referral relationships within the healthcare sector and local organizations, ensuring the continued growth of the client base and maintaining a strong presence in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire sales cycle from consultation to seamless handoff, ensuring a smooth and personalized experience for clients.
- Maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring continuous engagement and satisfaction.
- Drive sales growth and expand the client base by utilizing strategic insights and market trends.
- Achieve revenue and gross margin targets, consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Conduct in-home assessments with prospective clients, securing Care Plans and ensuring accurate information is captured.
- Develop and nurture referral relationships within the community and local organizations, positioning the company as a trusted partner for home care services.
- Take ownership of client engagement and satisfaction, using tools like Net Promoter Score (NPS) to track feedback and ensure clients’ needs are met.
- Update and maintain Care Plans, ensuring they are current and aligned with clients’ evolving needs.
- Report regularly on sales performance and progress towards goals, ensuring visibility and accountability.
- Work closely with the operational team to ensure the seamless start of care plans and continuous improvement of services.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience in sales, with a strong focus on home care and elder care (preferred).
- Background in nursing (LPN, RN), social work, geriatric care management, or similar home care-related fields is highly valued.
- Minimum two years of sales experience, with proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Experience in senior care, home care, or retirement living is preferred.
- Strong customer service, leadership, and organizational skills, with a focus on relationship management and client engagement.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, with experience using AlayaCare software preferred for managing client care and schedules.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and updated insurance.
