Position Overview:
The Administrator of the Nursing Home is accountable to the CEO for the efficient management and operation of the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre (UCCC). This role ensures compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and standards, including those set by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The Administrator is responsible for creating an environment that maximizes the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being of residents.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
- Approved Long Term Care Administrator’s Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Nursing Homes Act and other relevant federal and provincial statutes.
