Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to join their team.
About:
Located in the heart of Eastern Ontario, Maxville Manor is a not-for-profit leader in long-term care and community services. We’re dedicated to person-centered care that promotes independence, dignity, and a sense of belonging.
As a proud member of the Great River Ontario Health Team, we collaborate with local health partners to deliver seamless, high-quality care across the region. In summer 2025, we launched a transformative four-phase redevelopment that will expand our home to 160 residents and introduce modern, home-like spaces that enhance comfort, safety, and quality of life.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will lead Maxville Manor through this exciting era of growth and renewal. This is a pivotal role for a visionary, values-driven leader who can balance strategic insight with hands-on leadership. The CEO will guide redevelopment, champion excellence in resident care, and inspire a collaborative, high-performing culture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation of the 2025–2028 Strategic Plan and drive progress toward redevelopment milestones.
- Oversee operations to ensure outstanding care quality, service delivery, and resident satisfaction.
- Provide strong financial stewardship and maintain compliance with Ministry of Long-Term Care standards.
- Recruit, mentor, and empower a skilled leadership team that embodies integrity, respect, and accountability.
- Strengthen partnerships with residents, families, staff, community organizations, and system stakeholders.
- Support effective governance through transparency, insight, and collaboration with the Board.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree in Health or Business Administration, Social Services, or a related field.
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience in healthcare, ideally in long-term care or community health.
- Proven experience in a unionized environment.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
