Position Overview:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Wellness (DOW) is responsible for ensuring residents enjoy a lifestyle and quality of life that meets or exceeds their expectations. The DOW assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors and other staff members.
In this role you will plan, organize, direct and supervise the activities of the Wellness department in provide quality, individualized care.
Qualifications:
- 2 – 3 years hands-on experience as an RPN in retirement living and/or long term care
- 2 – 3 years nursing management experience
- Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses as a registered nurse
- Working knowledge of the Retirement Homes Act
- Working knowledge of Infection Control procedures
