Community Outreach and Marketing Manager to join their team.

Sagecare (147 Elder Street) is a private dementia care residence located in North York, ON, within the Greater Toronto Area, serving families across Toronto and surrounding communities. Situated in a residential neighbourhood, the home offers a calm, familiar setting designed to support comfort, safety, and connection for individuals living with dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.
Sagecare (147 Elder Street) is a 72-bed, home-like community dedicated exclusively to dementia care, where daily life is guided by routine, familiarity, and meaningful relationships. The residence supports individuals with a confirmed dementia diagnosis, providing specialized care tailored to their unique needs.
Care is delivered by experienced nurses and caregivers who work closely with families, recognizing that dementia care extends beyond the individual. Through ongoing communication, trust, and personalized support, Sagecare (147 Elder Street) fosters a supportive environment for both residents and the families who walk alongside them.
Position Summary and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Community Outreach and Marketing Manager leads community engagement, outreach, and marketing initiatives to drive partnerships, lead generation, and occupancy, while managing the full prospect lifecycle through CRM systems and strategic campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Outreach & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison, building and maintaining relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, and community partners.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute annual and quarterly outreach and marketing plans to drive partnerships and engagement.
- Event Planning & Marketing: Plan and execute outreach events and digital marketing initiatives across platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, newsletters, and blogs.
- Lead Generation & CRM Management: Build and manage a pipeline of prospects while overseeing CRM activities, including lead tracking, communication, and funnel progression.
- Collaboration: Partner with the CEO and management team to support lead conversion through reporting and strategic insights.
- Sales & Tours: Conduct residence walk-throughs and tours for prospects, families, and community stakeholders.
This role is well suited for someone who enjoys being out in the community, building strong professional networks, and connecting families with supportive care environments for their loved ones.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Social Work, Marketing, Social Psychology, Gerontology, or a related health profession.
- Proven knowledge of and experience in the seniors’ market, public health sector, and private health sector.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing comprehensive sales, marketing, and public relations campaigns.
Compensation:
- The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $55,000 – $75,000, commensurate with experience.
- In addition, the role offers a $5,000 annual bonus tied to KPI achievement and a $10,000 quarterly occupancy incentive based on achieving and maintaining occupancy targets above 97% or above.
