The Occupational Health and Safety Manager will be responsible to develop, implement and manage health and safety programs, policies and procedures that adhere to local, provincial, and federal legislation and are aligned with corporate goals and objectives.
The successful candidate will oversee a small team and have regional responsibility to review and conduct audits to ensure compliance and collaborate with various departments and leaders to establish a culture of safety, minimize risks, and maintain compliance.
- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Registered Safety Professional, Industrial Hygienist) or equivalent certification preferred
- Health & Safety management experience within a large organization or region
- Strong knowledge of provincial and federal occupational health and safety legislation
- Class 5 Drivers Licence
