Position Summary:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Current registration and in good standing with the British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW) or equivalent professional body from another province.
- Experience in providing social work services to Indigenous communities, with an understanding of Indigenous culture, history, and practices.
- Ability to integrate traditional and contemporary approaches in social work practice.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships and communicate effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
- Empathy, compassion, and non-judgmental attitude towards clients and their unique circumstances.
- Experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
