Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and culturally sensitive Registered Social Worker to join our team in supporting the well-being and thriving of our community members. As a key member of our health and social services team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals, families, and the community as a whole.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration and in good standing with the British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW) or equivalent professional body from another province.
  • Experience in providing social work services to Indigenous communities, with an understanding of Indigenous culture, history, and practices.
  • Ability to integrate traditional and contemporary approaches in social work practice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships and communicate effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
  • Empathy, compassion, and non-judgmental attitude towards clients and their unique circumstances.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
