Carefree Manor is a premier 36 bed assisted living residence located in the picturesque town of 100 Mile House, British Columbia. Nestled in the historic South Cariboo region, our community’s roots trace back to the fur trading days before the gold rush. By 1860, thousands of gold seekers journeyed to the Cariboo, and 100 Mile House became a vital stopping point along the Cariboo Wagon Road from Lillooet. This rich history is embedded in the vibrant culture of our community today.
Situated in southcentral British Columbia, the South Cariboo is framed by the Coastal and Rocky mountain ranges and bisected by the Fraser River. The area, known for its scenic beauty and historical significance is home to over 20,000 people across several small communities.

Our assisted living beds are funded by Interior Health, ensuring that we can deliver high-quality care to our residents. Position Overview:
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years management experience in seniors’ residential/complex care, assisted living, or seniors’ housing
- Licensed Practical Nurse (current registration with BCCNM preferred)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in building and leading interdisciplinary teams
- Expertise in assisted living clinical operations and financial management
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
Compensation:
- A competitive starting salary range: $80,000 – $85,000 per year
