Credit River Retirement Residences, by Verve Senior Living, is a new community scheduled to open in early 2016. Located in the beautiful city of Streetsville, this vibrant community will offer 133 suites; which will include Independent and Full-Service Lifestyle, Assisted Living Suites and Memory Care Household Suites.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
As the Resident Services Manager at this beautiful new Community, you will develop individualized plans of care for all residents upon arrival and provide the best care possible. You will create an exceptional working environment for our team members and help redefine what it means to be aging. The Resident Services Manager will help create an environment where mind, body and spirit can flourish.
You’re an empathetic and caring leader of people; you know how to inspire, engage and support both team and community members in an active lifestyle community. You will build and foster positive partnerships within the community at large including the hospital and with other medical professionals.
A top priority and unique opportunity upon commencing this role will be working closely with the General Manager to hand-select your own Nursing Team. You will teach, mentor, and train your team while ensuring compliance with all provincial regulations and protocols.
You are a self-motivated and confident manager with strong team building skills who possesses good judgement to successfully manage complex situations.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
To qualify for this truly rewarding leadership role, you must have experience in a Seniors Living Environment:
- Registered Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Certification in Gerontology or Mental Health will be considered an asset
- Experience working in retirement/assisted living, long-term care and/or memory care experience is essential
- Exceptional organizational and management skills along with a passion in the care for seniors is a must
