Dental Operations Manager, Brantford, ON

 Job Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible to ensure overall efficient operations of the dental office. Managing the organization’s Human Resources, supervising employees and creating budgets/targets  in collaboration with the CEO.

Reporting to the CEO and serving as an effective member of senior management, this positions primary responsibility is to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficient growth and structured goal achievement within set time lines.

Working with the management team, this role contributes to development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.

This position will require 25-40 hours per week.

 Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, manage and monitor various departments in the dental office.
  • Utilize financial data to improve efficiency, prepare and control operational budgets. Control inventory and recommend effective strategies for financial well-being of the company.
  • Monitor, manage and improve efficiency of support services such as labs, Software, IT and suppliers. Facilitate coordination and communication between support functions including finance.
  • Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals.  Formulate inter and intra departmental policies to provide maximum output and efficiency.  Strictly monitor adherence to company rules and regulations.
  • Assist in recruitment and placement of required staff.  Establishment of organizational structures. Delegation of tasks and accountabilities. Supervise staff. Establish schedule and monitor performance fairly and diligently. Performance evaluations to be decided and done in concert with CEO.
  • Assist in development and implementation of strategic solutions.
  • Conducting regular meetings with CEO as part of company growth and organization. Reporting to CEO on regular basis for streamlined communication and growth.


  • Previous Healthcare Management experience preferred
  • Post Secondary Degree preferred
  • Must have previous experience with human resource and operations management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to multitask in a fast paced and high pressured environment
  • Change Management experience an asset
