We are seeking an Associate Director of Care, Registered Nurse, who strives to provide the highest quality of person-centered care for residents and who is knowledgeable and experienced in delivering nursing and Long-Term care best practices.Primary responsibilities include:
- Ensure the provision of best practice resident centred care
- Quality initiatives involving the nursing department and related committees
- Human resources management
- Meeting the criteria of the Long-Term Care Home Act and Regulations
To qualify for this truly rewarding leadership role, you must have a minimum of five years of recent experience in a long-term care environment, with experience as an Assistant Director of Care or Director of Care position. The individual successful in this position would have the potential to assume the Director of Nursing position when it is available.You have exceptional organizational and management skills along with a passion in the care for seniors.
You must hold a current license as a Registered Nurse in the Province of Ontario with a degree in Nursing or equivalent.
You are well versed and experienced in RAI/MDS.
You have high standards for how you act, what you do, and how you present yourself.
